Event Description
CAI was founded in 2011 by a committee of dedicated Muslim, Christian and secular Arab community leaders, academics, professionals and activists. The Institute reflects Canadian ideals of diversity, human rights, gender equity and the rule of law. We are a non-profit, non-partisan policy think tank that generates original discourse with which to engage Canadian institutions; improve understanding between communities; and articulate a research-based Canadian Arab perspective on Canada's domestic and international interests.
Our mission is to promote Canadian interests by researching and articulating the well-being, potential and contributions of Canadian Arabs to the social fabric of this country.
True to our mission, CAI’s inaugural gala will celebrate Arab culture, diversity, and achievement by featuring a tour of the ROM’s Mesopotamia Exhibit as well as entertainment by renowned soprano Miriam Khalil. We are also delighted to announce the Hon. Bill Graham as the evening's keynote speaker.
We hope you will join us in a spectacular evening.
A charitable tax receipt will be issued for the maximum allowable amount.
